Wow thats a great example what you can accomplish with Nick Campbells 5 SecondProjects. A reel almost only filled up by 5SPs from Greyscalegorilla. Wonderfull works presented in a great flow and perfect ‘on the beat’ effects. Hey can someone help this guy find a job in Paris! Seriously Thumbs up

Music : ” New Theory ” – Washed Out

Good reel by Bruno Ferreira. I think that this kind of music is one of the best for showreels. It’s just that it’s happy and gives you a good and warm feeling. Very positive atmosphere… If it was me, I would have thrown out the 3D character animation at 00:53 cause its just not fitting in with the colorfull and cheery rest. Or you could have added a bit scenery. I think the aim was, to show that you are capable of this kind of animation, but for me its just a rapid break in the great flow of this reel. Part of that its a wonderfull work. One more thing. Its difficult to read the name at the beginning (bruno) I had to try it severall times…

Lovely demoreel by Guido Wolter. What a great music-track. Not to experimental but still completley different to the stuff you here on the other reels. Great. As for the presented works I’m happy to see some on the beat action and a lot of offbeat material. All in all a great composition with a variety of different works. He definitely has a unique style which won’t fit together with his spaced out logo which I – by the way – admire! Thumbs up!

Great reel by Michael Rostenbach. The radical ending suprised me I wouldn’t place the email adress right ‘under’ the vimeo.com video progress bar… This way someone interested could miss your contact information. Its possible that they simply don’t care to search for themselves… So place it at a better spot in the next one. Overall nice reel !

You onlys should leave out your homepage / email if your potential customer can google you. And that works perfect Furthermore very good choice of music and perfect cuts and transitions! Thumbs up…

Thats a nice reel by Franco Barroeta… I like how the reels power increase with the music but after about a minute. I find it a little bit chaotic. But I have to say I don’t know whats the reason for that feeling – I think that music track is better for hard cuts and short scenes than those long ones. On the other hand I love that last animation, ending and rewind!

A wonderfull demoreel by Violet & Martin – Its some kind of perfect. Short simply intro and outro & a wonderfull composition. I think that this reel is getting better and better with every second passed and thats a point where you could improve. In the beginning i thought that this was an other fasion style demoreel. After some time i noticed that these two (?) are pretty great with 3D animation, too. But it took a while to come to that conclusion. I LOVE the last 15 seconds of this reel. Did you notice how the animtions changed to a smoother and reversed-type style. Thats a real great ending! Thumbs up!
