Hei, thank you very much for the post, and I have to say that you’re absolute right about the intro, first I wanted to do something that felt like an old TV program from late 70’s early 80’s… but… I’m a bit lazy… and… well, you can see the result… ^_^

thank you for posting a reply. The danger in using such an intro is that potential customers could stop the video right there because their lack of time to check out the whole thing. A better why would be to make a simple and clear intro like e.g. the one from Bill Hudsons Reel or design a real one like Linus Lundin.
The rest of your reel rocks!

ABOUT	That reel is pretty good. There is just one thing that bothers me: Sorry to tell this straight but I don't like this intro. The first 10 seconds of this reel only have an amateur like quality and lower the viewers expectations for the upcoming presentation. I suppose that he wanted to give that scene and old film look or just didn't spend enough time on it. After that the reel gets better with every second. I love the rise to the end. He shows a lot of different good works and combines the presentation of the works with the beat of the track. The goofy track is doing the rest! It's interesting for the first time. But if you here it twice or third times it becomes annoying. I would love to see this reel with another intro...! Than it would be much better... "Giroppon" by Nezumi Senpai

MORE INFO	I'm a 31 years old spanish animator/designer trying to do my best in Madrid. For the last 4 years I've been working in a small company dedicated to digital signage, so great part of my work is animate existing graphic advertising, trying to adapt the message and concept to motion, wich gives you a wider view about what works better on each media. Fortunately, not all the work is adapt existing material, and that's the good part of working on a less penetrating media, less restrictions and more creative freedom.
