| ABOUT | Good reel by Fabio Liguori. Good idea to have just a simple intro and outro. But I would not use any effects or different camera angels. Its almost impossible to read your name because there is too much text und not nearly enough time. The viewer cannot decide where to look first. And your name is most important. If you want to work with angels, I would do so after a couple of seconds. The reel is wonderfull - its nice that you mix real camera work and cg works. But than its starting to get difficult because I didn't know whether you just filmed the scenes or did the cg or directed the whole thing - you can find his role in every project on the vimeo site - that shows that you thought about the problem. ... All in all I would cut out about 30-60 seconds from the reel as many works show up 2-4 times. And I would change the music track to something with more variety. All in all it has been a pleasure to check out this reel, especially the skateborder/gamepad and hunter scenes. |
