Wow that was a hard cut in the end. This two and a half minute demoreel by Simon Goodchild gives us a real wide view over his works of the past years. But there are a lot of things which could be improved. At first the video quality which is just not enough. Second the aspect ratio which seems to be 4:3 while most of the works are shown in 16:9. I would change the aspect ratio to HD format and cut the 4:3 works to fit them better. At last I would throw almost everything out an just keep the great stuff, or do a faster paced reel with a lot of cuts… Please don’t let the video and that instant without any warning or fading out. There is much room for improvements as the shown works are great – its just the presentation that needs a little bit tweaking. I’m looking forward to the next reel…!
